Translating Texture into Pixels
Artisanal fashion brands live and die by the tactile experience of their products. The challenge for Tira Del Hilo's website was to communicate the craftsmanship, texture, and aesthetic soul of handmade textiles through a screen — without physical touch, scent, or the theatre of a physical boutique.
The website also needed to serve two distinct audiences with different needs: direct retail customers browsing for personal purchases, and wholesale buyers evaluating the full product range for stockist relationships. The design had to speak to both fluently, in both Spanish and English.

Editorial-Inspired Web Design
We developed an editorial design aesthetic for Tira Del Hilo — drawing on the visual language of high-fashion magazines rather than typical e-commerce templates. The layout uses generous white space, typographic hierarchy, and full-bleed photography sections to let the products breathe and command attention. Every page was designed to feel like a curated lookbook rather than a shop window, with seamless transitions between content and commerce.

We translated the editorial design into clean, performant code — building a fast, standards-compliant website that renders beautifully on all devices. We integrated inquiry forms for wholesale buyers, a lookbook gallery, and a newsletter signup — all built for easy ongoing management by the Tira Del Hilo team.
Multilingual Setup
We implemented a full bilingual setup — Spanish as the primary language for the domestic market, with a complete English translation for international wholesale buyers and export customers. Language switching is seamless and invisible to the user, maintaining design consistency across both versions. All SEO metadata and structured data were configured for both language versions to maximise search visibility in Spain and internationally.
